CHANGING
Grass is green,
The sky is blue,
And I am me,
And you are you.
Snow is white,
Tongues are red.
(Or that is what
The doctor said.)
Grass turns brown
In the fall,
And you and I
May both grow tall.
But tongues stay red,
The sky stays blue,
And I'll stay me,
And you'll stay you.
