NIGHT HORRORS
by Gwen Elwood.

When nighttime falls
I will fear
That Mom and Dad
Will not be near.

To rescue me
From from every foe,
To save me from
These tales of woe . . .

The creatures lurking
'Neath my bed,
The monsters
Chanting in my head.

I always think
When there's no light,
How scary is
The long, dark, night.

Until the morning
Breaks on through
And birds will sing
And skies are blue.

Yes, just because
There is no light,
Does not mean
It's BAD at night.
