MY VERSION OF FUN
by Gwen Elwood.

Sometimes I follow lady bugs
Almost for hours on end.
They rarely ever fly away--
They know I am their friend.

Sometimes I am so much intrigued
When examining fresh flowers,
That I can lose my track of time
And stare at them for hours.

Sometimes when I am climbing trees
I hardly can believe
How large and strong these plants can grow--
I never want to leave.

My brother bought a video game
That beeps and buzzes loud,
But I would rather sit outside,
And watch a fluffy cloud.

Yes, some folks like expensive toys
That need electricity,
Yet still it seems my favorite games
Will always come for free.
