READ ME!

READ ME ... yeah, right. Right?

I'm sick of everyone else having on-line diaries. I want one too.

What is this all about? Maybe you should read the READ ME READ ME.

january 17, 1999:
isn't it ironic

Sometimes the unknown will disappoint you.
Joyce Carol Oates, Foxfire

I have been sick. It's been almost a week now. Headache, fever, cough, cold, sinus, congestion, the whole works. The other night I took my temperature and it was 102 degrees. And this was immediately after I had made a committment to take care of my health. I think that I picked up the virus while at Kaiser taking care of a routine check-up. It figures.

I'd like to make some sort of philosophical statement here about the nature of life's little ironies, but I don't have one to offer. Life is sometimes ironic, that is all.

And, if you want philosophy, feel free to re-read yesterday.
