For being such a huge flirt, sometimes I lack directness.

Thus, even now, it surprises me when I manage to surprise someone.

Because I am paid so often to say what it is that I say,
and the fact of that, rationally, detracts from my credibility,

I wish that there were some sign I could give to warranty, somehow, the truth in my sentiment.
