For every force there is an equally strong
opposite force.
Corollary: Once everything seems to be going your way, that is the time
that you are most likely to lose your wallet.
We are approaching the time that will be the two-year anniversary of
Yale's death. The time of Samhain, when
most normal people will be attending
parties.
But I am not attending. I have work to do. I have best friends to
remember.
I have sadness not to think about.
If you met me recently, I probably made a bad
impression. How could I not have?
I am trying to keep the beauty from degenerating into ickiness.
Tonight I am going to use my extra hour to work on making my dreams come
true.
There will be time for parties later.
After all, a pendulum can only swing so far before it must swing back ...
I think.
