It really is amazing how words that seem so profound and therapeutic when scribbled on receipts on the way home from the gym ring tinnily when typed into the text document.
- A. Haves and have-nots.
- There are two types of people -- people who have nothing, and people who have a search for something.
- B. Futurism.
- The tarot is not a useful means of making decisions when there appear to be few options from which to decide.
- C. Consistency.
- It is not really possible to "quit" when you are self-employed.
- D. Luck.
- Why do people believe that if they buy enough lottery tickets, they are eventually going to win some day?
- E. Variety.
- My career is like my sex life: short-lived passionate moments of intense clarity and acute success, separated by long hours of desperation and quest.
- F. Education.
- Is it ever possible to learn a lesson before making a mistake first?
- G. Role-Playing.
- "Be careful of what you pretend to be, because, in the end, you are what you pretend to be." (Vonnegut).
- Thus, if we pretend to be something, do we always become it?
- H. Communication.
- Lying is a very political action.
- I. Objectivity.
- There is no lack of bias.
- J. Polling data.
- Surveys show: the most common response is lack of response.
- K. Success.

- L. Dreams.
- I live for the thought of the day when I can look back and say, "Remember how hard things were then?"
